MSci Chemistry and PGCE
I hold an MSci in Chemistry and a PGCE. i have been teaching since 2011. I have extensive expertise in teaching Chemistry across different curricula and age groups, helping students build strong subject knowledge, improve exam technique, and achieve their academic goals. My students have consistently made strong progress, improved their confidence, and achieved successful examination outcomes.
I’m a dedicated chemistry tutor with over a decade of experience, deeply passionate about making complex chemistry concepts accessible. To support my students, I’ve developed a comprehensive program tailored specifically to the course (IGCSE, A Level, IB or AP). My tried-and-tested resources, refined over years, are shared for both lessons and self-study. Through these materials and engaging instruction, I strive to help students reach their full potential, and as a result, most of them achieve A* or A grades in chemistry.
Bachelor's degree
I specialise in Biochemistry and focus on developing strong core conceptual understanding. My academic background allows me to explain scientific concepts in a structured way, particularly where students need to connect Chemistry with biological processes. This can be useful for Secondary and pre-university learners studying Chemistry or related life sciences.
I use simulations and online educational games to make scientific concepts more interactive. I focus on helping students understand the underlying ideas before moving into application and practice.
MPhil Analytical Chemistry
I did an MSc in Analytical & Inorganic Chemistry in 1997 from BZ University, Multan. I started teaching in 2001 at a school. Since then, I have taught at various levels at various schools, colleges, institutes & BZ University, Multan as regular & visiting faculty. I have taught Chemistry at different levels, including Analytical, Environmental, and Nuclear Chemistry, and have also been teaching online. I was recognized as the best teacher 2 times at a school & a college due to good results in the board exams.
What I have understood over the years is that the ultimate goal of teaching is to make your students be able to learn themselves without any help. Once a student's curiosity is developed, then nothing can stop him. I always try to show my students the relation of the subject to our real-life experiences, and this brings much fruit. For secondary and O-Level Chemistry, I like to connect abstract concepts to real-life examples before moving into questions. I also encourage students to develop enough understanding to work through unfamiliar problems independently.
PhD in Chemistry
I hold a PhD in Chemistry and have 4 years of teaching experience in chemistry, guiding students in Classes 10, 11, and 12, including A, O-levels. My strong academic background, combined with my ability to explain complex concepts simply and engagingly, enables students to build confidence and achieve excellent academic results. I am passionate about teaching and committed to creating a positive and supportive learning environment for every student.
My tutoring approach is student-focused and tailored to help them to understand concepts step by step using simple language, real-life examples, and problem-solving techniques to build a strong conceptual foundation. I encourage students to ask questions freely and provide regular practice with constructive feedback to improve their confidence and performance. I maintain clear, patient, and effective communication. I took chapter-wise tests after each chapter, with questions ranging from easy to difficult, so they could be aware of the level of questions that could be asked in the chapter.
MPhil
My name is Amna Tahreem. I am an MPhil scholar at UVAS. I have been teaching and guiding students of the Punjab Board, Federal Board, Sindh Board, Cambridge, and Edexcel Board since 2019. I teach students in grades 9, 10, 11, and 12, as well as O levels and A levels. My major subjects of expertise include biology, physics, and chemistry.
My online tutoring approach combines a personalized guidance style with modern teaching methods. I leverage digital whiteboards for real-time problem-solving and use specialized digital apps to keep lessons interactive and visual. Backed by strong communication skills, I ensure complex concepts are broken down into simple, easily digestible steps while maintaining an open, supportive dialogue with my students.
Bachelor of Pharmacy
I am a healthcare professional who graduated from Kerala University of Health Sciences, and I am also a NEET-qualified candidate. I studied under the CBSE curriculum and achieved an A1 grade in all subjects in grades 10 and 12 in India. I have a passion for teaching, and I have been teaching since 2021.
I usually break the syllabus into clear, manageable portions and use practice questions to help students build their understanding step by step. I also revisit topics from previous lessons regularly so that students can strengthen what they have already learned before moving on.
BSc Electrical Engineering
I was always a hard-working student and wanted my students to be the same. In my 3 years of teaching, I have improved and learned a lot too. I helped my students in achieving full marks and to be at the top of the scale. After preparing for me, my students have passed the entrance exams and other tests, and their success keeps me going.
My tutoring approach is learning the basic concepts of everything first. I take a short quiz before starting my sessions to identify students’ strengths and weaknesses. Chemistry and Physics are the most interesting subjects, and I will make concepts a piece of cake for my students. I am always open to questions and available for you, even on weekends.
Abdul Rehman is a fantastic Physics tutor. Glad I found the MTS board and met him. My grades and confidence improved.
His method of explaining complex concepts is very effective, and I cannot recommend him highly enough.
Doctor of Pharmacy
I have been tutoring students since 2024, supported by a strong academic background in pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences as a Pharm-D candidate. I have experience explaining complex scientific concepts in a clear, structured, and engaging manner while adapting lessons to individual learning needs. I focus on explaining scientific concepts clearly and systematically across secondary, higher-secondary, and introductory university-level study.
My tutoring approach is student-centered, structured, and concept-driven. I first identify each student’s learning needs, academic gaps, and goals, then tailor lessons accordingly. I use clear explanations, step-by-step problem-solving, questioning, real-world examples, visual aids, and targeted practice to develop strong conceptual understanding rather than rote memorization. My guidance style is supportive and encouraging while maintaining academic discipline and accountability.
Bachelor's in Chemistry (Major Biochemistry)
I'm doing my MPhil in Biochemistry at the University of the Punjab, Lahore, after finishing my BS in Chemistry with a 3.86/4.0 CGPA. My first real teaching experience came from home: my younger brother was struggling with Chemistry and Biology in 9th and 10th grade, so I sat with him almost every evening, working through topics until they clicked. Watching him walk into his board exams confident instead of anxious is one of my proudest moments. Alongside my degree, I also research computational drug discovery.
No two students learn the same way, so before I stick to any lesson plan, I try to figure out exactly where someone's getting stuck. I lean on everyday analogies to explain tricky concepts. I keep asking questions throughout a session instead of just talking, and I like short quizzes to see what's actually sticking, not just before an exam.
BS Mechanical Engineering
I have been tutoring Science, Engineering, and Pre-Engineering subjects. I achieved A1 grades in Matriculation and Intermediate and consistently achieved high marks in Chemistry during my studies. I have also conducted educational workshops in Science and Engineering.
My tutoring approach is student-centered, interactive, and concept-focused. I first understand each student’s learning level, strengths, and weaknesses, then provide personalized guidance accordingly. My teaching method combines clear explanations, practical examples, step-by-step problem solving, regular practice, and exam-oriented preparation. I encourage students to ask questions and actively participate rather than relying on memorization. I maintain clear, patient, and friendly communication, ensuring that difficult concepts are explained in simple language. I also provide constructive feedback and continuously monitor progress to build confidence, independent thinking, and strong academic performance.
