Over the past decade, my teaching has focused on high-stakes exam preparation and executive Business English. My curriculum expertise includes IELTS, Cambridge B2 First, C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency, as well as Business English and English for Specific Purposes.
My lessons are structured around Task-Based Learning and the Lexical Approach, with a strong focus on student participation. For Cambridge learners, I break down marking criteria into practical skills and work on writing structure, vocabulary, grammar and timed performance. This exam-focused approach can also support secondary learners working toward Cambridge English qualifications.
BS in English Literature and Linguistics
I'm an English language and SAT preparation tutor since 2020. I specialize in helping international students strengthen their English fluency and succeed on the SAT, with a focus on Reading, Writing, and Language skills. I currently work with Grade 11–12 students as well as BS (undergraduate) level students, guiding them through grammar, academic writing, comprehension, and test-day strategy.
I start with the basics and then build the exam strategy around them. There is little point teaching students shortcuts if their grammar or comprehension is still weak. Once those foundations are in place, we work on pacing, question elimination, essay structure and timed practice. For Secondary students, I can adapt the same approach to O-Level, IGCSE or other English examination requirements.
TTC, DELE, Duolingo, IELTS
I have been teaching English to children, teenagers and adults at different proficiency levels since 2018. I hold TTC certifications for teaching both children and adults and have experience with general English, academic English, speaking, pronunciation, grammar, writing, and exam preparation. I also hold IELTS and Duolingo English Test certifications and am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Canadian University Dubai.
My lessons depend quite a bit on what the student needs. If grammar is the issue, we work through it with examples and short exercises. If writing is the problem, I focus more on structure and practice. For Secondary students, I can also work directly with school texts and examination questions. I like keeping lessons conversational where possible so students get a chance to use the language rather than only study rules.
MPhil in English Literature and Linguistics
My background is in English Literature and Linguistics, and my teaching has focused on making English clear and approachable. I have worked with students who need help with language, written work, and academic understanding, and I particularly enjoy taking a difficult text or concept and breaking it down into something a student can actually discuss.
I normally begin with the text or skill the student is working on and ask questions to see how they are approaching it. We then build the answer together through explanation, examples, and discussion. For Secondary and O-Level students, I like combining reading and writing rather than treating them as completely separate skills. When we work on literature, I also encourage students to explain their interpretation rather than simply memorizing a prepared analysis.
Masters in English Language and Linguistics
I believe in exploring and discovering new ways and ideas in English. I joined teaching to teach students everything about the English language and learn something from them in return. I am looking forward to sharing my love of the English language and literature with all of you.
My tutoring sessions cover all four areas of language like reading, writing, speaking, and listening. I offer academic and English language learning classes too. In short words, my tutoring approach is exam and goal-focused.

Masters in Linguistics and Language
I have a passion for learning different languages and teaching others. For the past 5 years, I have turned my passion into a full-time profession. I am a private and online tutor of Chinese, English, and Cantonese. I am experienced in dealing with and tutoring students of foreign languages and helping them discover the world of other languages.
My tutoring approach is conducting interactive sessions where students can learn and practice at the same time. Without practice, one cannot learn or become fluent in any language. Whether you want to study Chinese, English, or Cantonese for academic purposes or any other, I am up to join you in your journey.

I am an MPhil-qualified English educator with extensive experience teaching English across Cambridge and international curricula, including IGCSE, Checkpoint, and secondary-level programs. I specialize in English language, literature, academic writing, grammar, and exam preparation. I have taught English Language, Literature, academic writing and grammar, as well as preparing students for examinations. Working with students of different abilities has given me experience adapting the level of support rather than expecting every learner to respond to the same type of lesson.
I usually combine explanation with discussion and guided practice. If a student is struggling with writing, for example, we may look at a model answer first and then build their own response step by step. For IGCSE and other Cambridge-style examinations, I also use exam questions and feedback to improve structure, language and interpretation. I want students to understand how to improve a piece of work, not just receive a corrected version.
Master in English Language and LLB
I have been serving my unique teaching style to academic platforms for the last 4 years, and I’d do it forever. I am a passionate, energetic, competent, and hard-working English language teacher.
Understanding student learning approaches and planning lessons for them are my first two priorities when teaching is concerned; thus, I take time to hold an introductory meeting with the student and then plan lessons for them. Just to keep the students engaged and the lesson interesting, I ask tricky questions and arrange fun learning activities during sessions.

I am a native English speaker, and I have advanced knowledge and degrees in English Language and Linguistics. I seek to inspire, encourage and teach students at their pace.

Masters in Advanced Education
My experience is in teaching English Language and Geography to students of all grades and ages. My lecture forms a deep understanding of concepts and a long-lasting understanding of both subjects.
My teaching approach is flexible. I like to deliver new and advanced knowledge to students and improve their critical thinking skills. I encourage my students to ask questions, investigate, research, and learn the roots of everything. I also offer English communication skills classes to the students.
